Andrew Spingarn "Pools of Light" Poured Glass Earrings
The artist and designer jeweler, Andrew Spingarn, has been in the jewelry industry for over 25 years. His company is based in Providence, RI, the center of jewelry manufacturing in the US. What sets Andrew apart from his contemporaries is his attention to detail and old world techniques. Many of his pieces incorporate lamp work art glass pieces which are made in the traditional method used by French costume jewelers, Maison Gripoix. In fact, his lampwork technique was so precise that Gripoix family members came to the US to see his factory. Karl Lagerfeld also used his “poured glass” cabochons in his private label couture collection. He has collaborated with many other couturiers including Calvin Klein, Mary McFadden, and Norma Kamali.

I am pleased to offer pieces acquired directly from Andrew’s personal collection. These are all old stock and have never been worn.

These beautiful earrings have such a unique refractive quality when worn. They are made from gilt brass and are 2" long x 1" wide. They have clear poured glass drops that emit a "pool of light". They are unsigned and they are in excellent condition.
