| This beautiful Victorian necklace has an early vinaigrette fob pendant on a unique watch chain. The chain is 23" long with 3 ornate repousse silver beads and 2 double knot wire panels. The vinaigrette pendant is 1" long x 3/4" wide x 5/16" wide and opens to reveal a hidden scent compartment. The interior bears the hallmarks of an anchor for the Birmingham assay office, a lion passant for English sterling silver and the queens head which is the duty mark of the reigning monarch. It also bears the letter F dating it to 1854/1855 and the makers mark "DP". The chain has no markings but is most likely from the same period and city of origin. Both pieces are in excellent condition. | ||||||||
