| This sensational cuff was designed by New York contemporary designer jeweler, Patricia Von Musulin. Her pieces are known for their sculptural quality and have been featured in the design collections of Bill Blass, Perry Ellis, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, and Geoffrey Beene. This cuff bracelet is a truly hard to find piece by Patricia and is made from a huge piece of preban elephant ivory. It is 2 1/4" wide at it's widest and has an interior 5 1/8" end to end measurement with a 1" gap opening. It is made for a smaller wrist of 6" or less. The bracelet walls are extremely thick measuring about 1" thick, and the ivory has a rich cross graining only seen in old growth ivory. It has some light aging and dark lines which are original to the material. This piece could be shaved down to fit a larger wrist if desired. It has no signature and was purchased directly from the designer in the 1980's. Von Musulin pieces of this caliber rarely show up on the secondary market, and she RARELY sculpts ivory pieces like this in her current collections.
