This unusual bib necklace was designed and crafted by contemporary designer costume jeweler, Robert Sorrell. His pieces are expertly hand made and have been featured in the runway collection of Thierry Mugler as well as theater productions like Cirque de Soliel's Zoomanity. This particular necklace was made for one of the productions of "Broadway Bares", a charity burlesque show which often derives it's themes from particular shows or musicals of the time. This necklace was Mr Sorrell's take on the final scene of "Carrie: the Musical" and was used on the stage. It is 16 1/2" long and drapes down 6 1/4" long in front. It has a gun metal finish and has a variety of red blown glass, faceted crystals, and cabochon stones. It has a minor repair which was performed by Mr Sorrell, and the end is signed "Sorrell Originals". It is in excellent condition.
