This amazing vintage necklace was designed for the couture house of Yves Saint Laurent. It is 21" from end to end and each heart panel is 1 1/4" long x 1 1/4" wide. It is made from 22k gold plated metal and the front is elaborately set with clear rhinestones in a variety of shapes. It is a quality heavy casting and it is in excellent vintage condition. It is not signed but my European consignor purchased it directly from one of the Paris atteliers that makes jewelry for YSL.

The talented artist, Judith Hendler, began her jewelry career in the early 1980’s. Experimenting with lucite scraps from her husband’s furniture design studio, she created one of a kind bold gems.
