This gorgeous vintage necklace has beautiful gem quality malachite in an unusual banded pattern. Pieces of this caliber are increasingly hard to find because most stone of this quality is either mined out, or it comes from countries suffering civil war preventing export. This beautiful vintage necklace is handcrafted from Baltic natural cherry amber. It is 38" long and has nicely rounded ovoid beads graduating from 14mm by 16mm to 20mm to 29mm at the center. It is strung on it's original tinted silk cord and has a spring ring closure at the end. It has a rich deep red to brown coloring and each bead has natural crazing and inclusions.
