It is 1 1/4" wide in front with a 5 1/4" end to end measurement and a 1 3/8" gap opening. The outer side has intricate hand stamp details on the repeated elliptic pattern. It has no markings like much early Indian jewelry, but it has been tested for sterling silver and is guaranteed to be sterling silver. It weighs in at 79 grams.

It is a large 3" in diameter and has a 36" long leather strap with 2 1/4" long tips. It is made from sterling silver and the front is elaborately inlaid with mother of pearl, turquoise, onyx, tortoise shell, and spiny oyster. It is in excellent condition and is signed "Joe + Cornelia Bowannie Zuni" on the reverse.

Colorful Santo Domingo Pueblo Turquoise Earrings Catalogue: Estate Jewelry: Silver: Native American: Pre 1940   item# 735612 (stock# 43912)  click for details The Lush Life Antiques TEL. 214-417-0854 $150  These unique earrings were made by artists at the Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico. These early works are fashioned from recycled materials including old car batteries, records, and other plastics, and also incorporate turquoise fragments in the designs. The earrings are 2 1/4" long x 3/4" wide and have stainless steel screwback tops. One earring has a small chip on the edge of the red plastic, but this could be original to the piece. Overall, they are in very good condition.
