This lovely vintage pin was made by William Kerr of Newark, New Jersey. It is made from sterling silver and has a dimensional repousse floral design. It measures 1 3/4" long x 1 1/2" wide, and stands almost 1/2" thick. It has it's original "C" scroll closure, but looks like the watch hook has been removed. It is hallmarked "Sterling 1825" with the Kerr scabbard hallmark.
This beautiful art nouveau chatelaine pin measures 8 1/4" long x 2" wide and has a silver plate pin top with plated bottom panel. Suspended from this are 3 sterling silver objects which include a postage stamp case, concealed knife/scissors, and a repousse pencil. The chains and adornment above the knife/scissors are also made from sterling silver. The pin has no makers marks, and only the stamp case and pencil are hallmarked for sterling.
