It is 7/8" wide with a 6 5/8" interior measurement, and stands approximately 1/2" off the wrist. It is exquisitely made from 18k gold and has 7 cultured pearl accents across the front. It has a secure closure with attached safety chain and has the numbers 2/54 inscribed which I believe is the date of the piece. Gorgeous Victorian Layered Bohemian Garnet Pin Catalogue: Estate Jewelry: Gold: Victorian: Pre 1900   item# 722369 (stock# 43735)  click for details The Lush Life Antiques TEL. 214-417-0854 $250  This beautiful vintage Bohemian garnet pin measures 2" long x 1 1/8" wide, and is constructed of 3 layers. It has intricate clusters of prong set rose cut and cabochon garnets set in a gold fill mounting. It has a "C" scroll closure on the reverse and it is in excellent condition. It does have some scratching on the reverse which I believe was done to remove an early engraving.

It has intricate clusters of prong set rose cut garnets set in a gold fill mounting. The safety closure is an early replacement probably done to replace the original "c" scroll closure. Overall, the pin is in very good condition.
