This unusual modernist bird set was designed by Jorge Castillo, better known as Chato of the renowned Los Castillo taller. The pin measures 2 3/4" long x 2" wide and the matching earrings are 1 1/2" long x 1" wide. The set handwrought from sterling silver and has pearl, coral, and green stone accents. Each piece is hallmarked "Chato Castillo 925", and the pin bears his logo as well as model #4. The earrings have non silver pivot backs but I can not detect if these are original or later replac...
This great contemporary Mexican bracelet has whimsical panels with scenes from the "Day of the Dead" festival. It is 8 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide and is handcrafted from polished alpaca. The colorful skull and katrina pictures are encased in clear epoxy. The bracelet is in excellent condition and was lovingly made by artisans in Mexico.
This unique necklace was designed by the current head of Los Castillo, Emilia "Mimi" Castillo. It has a wearable length of 16" and drapes down approximately 2 1/4" in front. The neck wire it self is sterling silver, and it has 9 cutwork birds in sterling silver, brass, and copper. It is in excellent condition and is hallmarked "Emilia Castillo Mexico M.R. 925 TC-124".
This unique design by Hector Aguilar was executed at his Taxco shop, Taller Borda. It has a wearable length of 6 1/4" with a 1" gap opening and is 1 3/4" long at it's widest point. It has bold X and O cutwork design across the front and flairs to a scrollwork design on the ends. It is in excellent condition and is hallmarked "Taller Borda 925 Sterling Mexico" on the inner cuff.
These wonderful earring were designed by Los Castillo family member, Chato Castillo. Chato is known for his high relief repousse work, so this is an interesting divergence for what he's known for. Each married metal screwback earring is 3" long x 1" wide and both have oxidized fronts with brass details. The backs are sterling silver and are hallmarked "Chato Castillo Taxco Mexico" with the Chato monogram. They are in excellent condition.
This amazing ring was designed by Hungarian born sculptor and jeweler, Pal Kepenyes. The ring is 2 1/8" long x 1 1/4" wide and is hand crafted from sterling silver. It has a large natural turquoise center stone mounted in a tendril like setting. It is a heavy 47 grams and is hallmarked "Pal Kepenyes Mexico" on the reverse.
This exciting pendant was designed by Felipe Barbosa of San Miguel, Mexico.
The pendant is 2 1/8" wide x 3" high. The pendant is comprised of gold & silver tone metal, with 6 epoxy sections, portraying various skeleton Katrinas in black & white. There are crystal & polished stone accents at all 4 points. In excellent condition, the pendant bears the Felipe Barbosa hallmark on the reverse side. Be sue and check out the marching earrings!

This wonderful owl bracelet was designed by contemporary jeweler, Federico whose designs are hand crafted in Mexico. The bracelet measures 8" long x 1 1/8" wide and has 5 repousse owl panels with turquoise cabochon eyes. It is in excellent condition and is hallmarked "JF Sterling" on the reverse.

The earrings measure 1" H in diameter and under 1 inch wide (5/8) and features a devil, carrying a pitchfork, encased in epoxy 5mm thick. The earrings are silvertone with pierced harp backs. This handsome belt buckle was designed by Felipe Barbosa of San Miguel, Mexico.
The buckle measures 4 3/8" wide x 2 3/8" high and is 13.4 mm thick. The buckle is comprised of silver & gold-tone metal and bears the likeness of the Virgin Mary, encased in epoxy, at its center. Flanking either side of the Virgin Mary are 5 small, clear crystals and one large, clear crystal at the top of the Sacred Heart. In excellent, unworn condition, the buckle bears the Barbosa hallmark on the reverse side.
This lovely vintage bracelet was designed by Taxco Maestro, William Spratling. It is hand crafted from 980 silver and is 7 1/8" long x 3/4" wide. It has a unique repeated bead/ball design and it closes with a pin style closure. The inner bracelet is hallmarked with Spratling's earliest WS logo mark as well as 980. It is in excellent condition and weighs 46.5 grams.
